the real story

ok so the real story/lesson to what happened today...though of course what didnt happen today...
will probably be told tomorrow...why? cos i realised i left my notebook in yw! smart stacy!
so anyways to repeat, reflect some of the announcements i gave today...
1. sec 1-3 camp!next year march hols!
2. camp promo sunday 28th sept - service starts at 9:20!
3. camp registration fixed at $80 (anyone with issues please let me know)
4. swensens icecream!!! do you guys mind if i change the date? i realised that i may not exactly be in the right financial state during this time...heh heh
5. ive already decided on the 3 people who will be group leaders for next year's sec 1-3 camp...the great reveal - when i return!
6. p6 forum on the 16th of nov...be prepared!
7. still wanna talk to YOUR parents...noones let me know yet...hmmmm
8. started the facebook group for our small group...go join!!!
and now sleep beckons!

so for Ashley and Nadia who came down today, thanks alot girls! Really funkily retarded day! since it was just the 3 of us, we ended up watching Bring it on 4 on the big screen tv!
I just wanna check when exactly will exams be over for everyone? that way we can have a proper movie marathon maybe at my place...or something else...im thinking hard about having an end year chalet somewhere...but no GUARANTEES just yet alright...Il probably just make you guys bring food for the bbq as payment at the most...(see how first) anyways...next sunday when i return, we shall see some interesting videos from previous camps which of course include some shots of yours truly...im gonna be pushing camp quite abit for the next few weeks especially since registration will be opening at the end of this month!!! cannot wait!!! theres also gonna be something really exciting next year in march but you'l have to wait for next sunday for further updates about that!

but anyways...look forward to lots of stuff including some information that you guys shouldnt need to know yet! haha yes indeed with me as your leader - you guys get all the freshest info!
anyways - the next thing i want to talk about will be parents. does anyone have any objection to me calling/emailing your parents to talk to them about you? ***i will of course let you know precisely what i want to talk to them about. but il probably do this is late nov/early dec...this is coz i realised that i am the only leader who has not talked to her youths parents and yes like it or not, parents are important in your lives especially now...so id just like to talk them about your proogress etc etc. i promise i cant think of a single bad/negative thing to say about you guys - well at the moment at least. but yes more about that next week as well!
looking forward to going to the conference on friday though il miss you guys!

it's been awhile

so yes indeed its been quite some time since ive updated...dont blame me...i lost the password/username...ok blame me
anyways, final-year exams will be comingupon us shortly...ok maybe not me but you guys...snigger snigger. yes indeed there are some perks to being in the working world ehh?

theres been alot of things that have been absolute rubbish for me, especially last week and especially on sunday morning...
that is, until i saw you guys! SERIOUSLY!!!
i was going through this whole pity-phase and my life sucks etc etc...thyen i saw you guys and things actually started looking up! and i was like..."whoa you guys actually cheer me up!" YAY!!!
i have no idea how im gonna cheer up next year when i have to leave you guys. i really wish i didnt have to!...
but anyways - remember a few weeks ago how i asked if anyone was interested in doing the essay for the ym website? please do let me know if you've actually done it...if anyone bothered...it would be great to get your perspectives on ym and how different it is from cm as well as which you prefer...
for example...i like ym cause stacy is tall,dark and handsome...excuse me while i go throw up...:P
or i hate ym cos of the loud music...

yes so if you've been watching american idol, unlike me (ive just been watching the results shows) you'll know that its gonna be a david cook vs david archuleta finale next week...ahh well...anyways dont forget this week, we'll be having visitors during small group time to see how i conduct lessons...next week is combined service so it starts at 9:30! also, there wont be chairs so girls please dont wear skirts...also next week, is the modeling thing so bring extra cash in case you want to buy a t-shirt showcased. if im not mistaken, the t-shirts will cost around $15 or so. hope you guys have had a good week thus far...i know i have! working in church is awesome! myboss is really funny and im doing something i enjoy for cash...i wish i could say i would do it for free but then, im not exactly stupid! love you all see you sunday!

hey people - sorry there havent been any new posts lately...ive been really shacked with work and all! also i fell sick on friday and for those of you that i talked to yesterday - you could hear how odd my voice sounds - it still sounds terrible though...anyways i hoped you guys enjoyed sandy's last sermon yesterday and took down some notes. by the way does anybody have jeremy's contact details? saw him yesterday and id like to try to get him to come for ym more often. also in addition to the 3 guys who are sitting in our group, 3 adults will be sitting in as well this sunday. i wont say be on your best behaviour but...try to make me look good? please? they'll be checking to see how and if i can handle you as well as the lessons...anyways its just to let you know and not to make you behave in a certain way...act naturally! id love for them to see how you guys and girls normally behave anyways! see you all on sunday and continue praying for nadia's dad who will be going in for surgery this week. if anyone has any other prayer requests do let me know!

Ok guys once you get used to me posting you'l notice that my titles may be odd - simply cos i just put down whatever line im listening to on iTunes!

Anyways you'l notice that one of the link's belongs to a guy named Ben. He is a co-crosstrainer head with me and he is also one of the most spiritually-led guys i know. His joy in the Lord is so evident in everything he does. What makes him also unique is that he never stops smilinig. I mean NEVER! It simply translates into his love for God!
Ok i guess now and here would be a good time to tell me what you all think about the 3 guys who sat in our group yesterday...not to gossip! But just simply to let me know what you think. I dont think they will be leading you when and IF i leave but since thats a long way to go just bear with me for a while.
As mentioned yesterday there is no small group time this Sunday 11th May, instead there'll be a sermon by Sandy! Like we said she's an awesome lady who is super passionate about YM as well as all the YMers. I'm really really blessed to be able to work under her from tomorrow onwards!
Also please feel free to post up your prayer requests or anything you might want to say! Just remember no scolding people and Shaun...please stop saying your pro...ok? Self-praise is no praise! (jk jk)

so - you guys should know by now that our youth small group (ysg) name is Knights For Christ (KFC). i think ive used the name somewhat excessively for the blog but hey it is our group name!
tomorrow - sunday - i should be giving you all the details to log into the blog etc etc. im letting you choose to blog about whatever you want to but just remember - no obsenities etc etc.
il need someone who's good at html etc etc to change the blog layout to something nice and that could reflect our small group? please make sure theres a chatbox attached as well 'kay!
il also post up notes from previous lessons and notes from some other sermons that i think you may enjoy.
